The Simpsons: Welcome to the Club begins with Lisa Simpson living out every little girl’s dream: becoming a princess. Dressed in her princess finery and heading into a big castle with Bart, she’s ready to live a carefree life. That is, until Bart transforms into Loki, who, along with a cast of many other Disney Villains, perform a musical number to convince Lisa that being a villain is much better than being a princess.

With cheeky commentary from Loki, a musical number from Ursula featuring the Disney princes, and a Mickey and Minnie Mouse cameo, this Disney short is jampacked. Other villains that share their opinion on the matter include Scar from The Lion King, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmations, Kaa from The Jungle Book, Jafar from Aladdin, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Hades from Hercules, and the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Though the film ends with the song, without hearing what team Lisa chooses, the end credits play over snapshots of Lisa hanging out with the villains: playing poker, zooming around in a flying car, and other wicked activities, so it looks like the song was pretty convincing…

The Simpsons: Welcome to the Club was directed by David Silverman and written by J. Stewart Burns, Joel H. Cohen, Al Jean, Christine Nangle, and Loni Steele Sosthand. An excellently entertaining short film, this one is definitely worth a watch!
