Press Release
How will small businesses - and our nation - survive a 100% tariff? Supply chains are already strained. Prices are poised to skyrocket. And thousands of small brands are at risk of closing their doors.
The tariffs that small businesses have paid this year have already depleted cash reserves, forcing many to halt new product development, scale back marketing, and reduce production just to stay afloat. Now, as we enter the critical holiday season — our one chance to recover lost revenue — we are faced with an impossible challenge: a proposed 100% tariff.
For many of us, paying such a tariff is simply not feasible. Orders will be canceled, restocks delayed, and containers already in transit will sit in limbo. Packages are already getting lost or “abandoned” in Customs as officials struggle to navigate constantly changing tariff rules.
One of those packages is ours. After weeks of waiting, we’re unable to fulfill much-needed holiday orders — sales that are vital to our survival.
Baby Paper is just one of thousands of small American brands fighting to stay alive. We are calling on our elected officials to stand by their promises to support small business. Where is our lifeline?
