5 Days Left to Enter the Young Inventor Challenge

The Young Inventor Challenge inspires creativity within the youth of the toy and game industry by providing mentorship and professional guidance.The deadline for entries is October 31st.
CHICAGO, IL - October 26, 2021 -- The Young Inventor Challenge (YIC) creates a space for young inventors to create, present and connect with toy industry professionals. People of Play (POP) is accepting entries for five more days, closing on October 31st. Final entries are due on November 7th. The YIC is sponsored by Spin Master, Goliath, Mattel, HABA, New Key Pet, LLC, and Crazy Aaron’s.
The YIC is open to kids ages six to eighteen years old from around the world. Encouraging them to hone their entrepreneurial spirit and power of creativity to develop a one of a kind toy or game. The future of the toy industry truly lies in the heart of these young inventors. Past winning inventions can be found sitting on store shelves today.

“We can’t wait to see what other wild and wacky inventions these kids will dream up. Harnessing imagination and the drive to succeed starts at a young age - and these kids have the spark.” said Jazmine Daren, Co-Director of the Young Inventor Challenge. “Everyone involved in the Young INventor Challenge is constantly inspired by these kids, from the toy professionals, to the parents and teachers who cheered them on along the way.”
There is a $15 registration fee. The deadline for registering is October 31st and kids have until November 7 to complete their entries. Winners announced at a virtual Awards Ceremony on November 20th Each winner will receive a $250 prize package of toys and games - while two winners will be chosen for the following categories:
