TOMY International Announces New Bilingual Toy Line Created and Developed by Global Wellness Icon and Two-Time New York Times Bestselling Author Robin Arzón
Head Peloton Instructor Robin Arzón’s new Bebé Fuerte toy collection designed to get baby and caregivers moving together.
September 21, 2022, Oakbrook, IL– TOMY International will introduce a new line of baby toys developed in collaboration with Robin Arzón, athlete, mom, entrepreneur, advocate and New York Times bestselling author of children’s book, Strong Mama and its highly-anticipated follow-up, Strong Baby, publishing in February 2023.
Entitled Bebé Fuerte, the line will launch with eight signature products, designed from a fresh, colorful palette inspired by Arzón's Cuban-Puerto Rican roots and the rich heritage of LatinX culture. Some toys will feature Spanish words and phrases that parents can share as they play with baby. The product will come in bilingual packaging. “We are thrilled to be partnering with Robin on a collection that not only encourages parents to get active with their little ones, but also one that celebrates our growing Hispanic consumer base,” said Julie Gwaltney, Senior Director at TOMY International. “With beautiful colors and patterns, along with motivational messages such as ‘Si Se Puede’ and ‘Vamos A Movernos’ found throughout the line, this inclusive collection will be a fresh addition to the world of infant toys. Developing the line with Robin has been an exciting initiative for us.”
Arzόn, who is also the Vice President of Fitness Programming and Head Instructor at Peloton, lives by the mantra fitness comes from progress over perfection. Robin brings that same philosophy to baby’s first physical milestones, encouraging parents and baby to move together. “I’m a strong believer in the power of movement for all ages,” said Arzόn. “Watching my daughter Athena use movement as play inspired the vision behind Bebé Fuerte. I’m so excited to bring this collection to life with fun, vibrant toys and inspire families to move together.”
Bebé Fuerte previewed at the Dallas Toy Fair this month and be available in select retailers in Fall 2023.
