For the past 30 years I have had the opportunity and privilege to “play” nearly every key role in this wonderful industry of ours. First as CEO of Early Learning Centre US retail where I transformed that 92 store retail business into what became Learning Curve International most famous for birthing the Thomas & Friends Wooden Play System and the Lamaze Infant Play brand; Then on to kids television production as Chairman of WordWorld the Grammy award winning educational TV series funded in part by the Dept of Education and aired on PBS; Then on to the digital play space as co-founder and CEO of Callaway Digital Arts the first publishing of kids education apps on the launch of the Apple iPad. For the past decade I have focused my playful energies on M&A (deal making) helping companies large and small secure funding and / or strategic partners to help grow or “exit”.
