EXPERIENCES:
My professional background in fashion/modeling/and clothing manufacturing provided the base I used to create my StoryRibbons designs while my tenure as the Administrator for the Nike Coach of the Year Clinic for 8 years (navigating 900+ players and coaches), alongside teaching classes for twenty four ~ five and six year old's ~ has been an instrumental reminder to adjust, adjust and re-adjust as I've worked to perfect my toy design ~ StoryRibbons! (I am also working on a second protected design for a braiding craft kit).

CREATION OF STORYRIBBONS:
STORYRIBBONS, is a feature plush with a patent pending AHA! surprise which began as a simple mission to encourage more "audience participation" with the grands when it came to introducing new concepts. I needed the children to be more involved in the process instead of me just "yada-yada-yada". I needed to impact them in a fun, interesting way where memorizing and recalling the ever important life concept being addressed - was a breeze. It worked. Children as well as adults who saw StoryRibbons loved them. They just did. The children would learn and then couldn't wait to share their version of whatever went through their imagination with me, pa, their parents or, of all things - their siblings and friends. That's what I was talking about! It worked so well - others encouraged me to move StoryRibbons out into the world. :)

StoryRibbons are cute, soft, cuddly. interactive and parent and grandparent friendly! They are portable, packable and attachable. They spark the imagination with every engagement ~ making recall almost effortless as they can't wait to show you! Big smiles and giggles while on a lap or on the way down for a nap!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:
Although retired from corporate America my husband, Jim, and I own and operate Foster Crossing Pecans, which is host to hundreds of guests each year. In addition, our aunt who is 87, our two daughters, their husbands and our seven ~ feral, free range Grands - ages 15, 10, 8, 7, 4, 4, and 2 - all have their homes here on this hill ~ just north of Dallas, TX.
