A native of Atlanta, GA, I am the owner of Train Up A Child Toys™ with the mission to bring joy and inspiration to young hearts through fun, innovative, biblically-based toys, books and children's products. My educational background includes a BS in Early Childhood Education and Master degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration (Non-Profit Organizational Management).

I am a former elementary and middle school teacher who currently pay the bills through graphic design and small business consulting. In February 2023, I decided that I absolutely did not have enough on my plate so I founded Black in Toys, Inc., a trailblazing 501c3 professional organization that supports, promotes and provides community for black creators and professionals in the toy, game and children's products industries. My goal is to create a global ecosystem and e-commerce marketplace showcasing children's products and brands that celebrate and represent black culture.

I am the mother of an adult son (no grandkids yet) and godmother to eight non-adult humans. In addition to being a TOYpreneur™ (because I just don't have enough to do), I also serve as the Business Manager for both, a women's flag and tackle football team.

It is my desire to leave the world better than I found it...to be significant rather than useful....to pursue purpose over popularity. My mission is to use my God-given talents, skills, abilities and resourcefulness to advocate for people who may not have the platform to advocate for themselves . It is my prayer that my having been on the earth will leave a lasting impact on someone's life in some small way.
