Troy is a veteran toy inventor of 25 years with hundreds of products under his belt. After 14 years with the Toy Biz division of Marvel Entertainment, he established Fishco Innovation in 2007. Fishco has developed mechanical and optical innovations in toy design for Hasbro, Fisher-Price, Spin Master, and Jakks Pacific. Fishco has recently relocated from Brooklyn, NYC to New York's Catskill Mountains. The surroundings there provide a space for local creative culture, unique creative thought bubbles and peaceful grounding.

In 2010, Fishco’s patented Impulse Projection™ technology was introduced in the action figure toy line for Disney’s Tron Legacy, and in 2011’s Real Lightning McQueen RC car, both by Spin Master. Hasbro used the tech in their 2017 Yokai Watch line.

Impulse Projection™ is a patented optical technology that produces projected animated images into a compact display. A simple design relies on lighting individual LED’s that project frames of animation from a slide transparency. The result is a display of motion graphics, like an animated .gif that you can hold in your hand. The tech can also simulate talking characters by projecting facial expressions synched with the actor’s voices.
