You will play an active role in crafting insightful product strategies and creative go to market stories for one of the most recognizable and multi-generational toy brands in the world. Ideally you are a strategic & entrepreneurial leader with an ambitious spirit and curious mind. Creativity, ingenuity and financial acuity will help you build foundational insights on how to grow the business; and a strategic approach will help us gain alignment on new key initiatives as we build our portfolio of partners. We are looking for a leader to bring insights on what’s new and cool for our multifaceted consumer with the ability to translate those opportunities into new revenues streams for the business. A day in the life of a Brand Manager of Global Brand Development & Marketing:
As a digital-first problem solver, innovative consumer marketer, and brand developer you will help lead the global product development and marketing processes, line planning activities, and brand strategy for the new product categories within the Nerf Portfolio. In this role, you will:
Demonstrate strategic and creative thought leadership and apply consumer and social insights to drive product innovations. You are an internal influencer who can put thoughts into action
Partner with cross-functional teams (design & development, packaging, engineering, demand planning, costing) to complete key brand initiatives, including finding innovative ways create incremental growth opportunities.
Assist in the creation of consumer facing assets for advertising and marketing messaging.
Provide timely and consistent communication of brand activity and key information to internal business partners.
Partner with regional marketing teams to understand business needs, retailer trends & challenges, share methodologies, identify growth opportunities, and provide guidance on local plans.
Lead the development of the Nerf go-to-market product strategy and supporting marketing materials.
Ownership and navigation of all internal systems and processes to ensure product lines are set up for success with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
What you’ll bring:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience supporting a fully integrated marketing program, or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent
MBA preferred
Proven ability to leverage insight into strategy & innovation
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Strong project management abilities
Digital first mindset
Business and financial acumen including analytical skills
