About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic and results-oriented licensing and partnerships leader to drive growth in the NAM market. In this high-impact role, you’ll own our local licensing strategy - negotiating with top licensors, aligning content decisions with market needs, and building breakthrough brand partnerships. You’ll collaborate across content, marketing, legal, and finance to deliver value-driven deals and expand the tonies® brand universe.
What You'll Do
Lead and execute the NAM licensing strategy, from sourcing new IPs to contract negotiation and execution
Manage high-impact licensing relationships across entertainment, publishing, and content
Identify and activate promotional partnerships that drive tonies brand awareness and exposure with key audiences
Work cross-functionally with Legal, Content, Finance, and Marketing to bring deals to life
Track performance and ROI of licensing and partnership activity
What Success Looks Like
High-value, strategic licensing deals signed and executed on time
Tangible revenue and brand impact from local partnerships
Licensing terms optimized for cost and scalability
Strong alignment with content and commercial strategy
High satisfaction from licensors and brand partners
What You Bring
7–10+ years of experience in licensing, partnerships, or business development, ideally in entertainment, consumer products, or children’s media
Proven deal negotiation experience, with a solid grasp of contracts, royalties, and rights
Strong relationship management skills and ability to engage C-level partners
Ability to balance creative vision with commercial logic
Familiarity with U.S. market dynamics and global collaboration in a matrix organization
A passion for storytelling, brands, and the power of play
