Role Description

This is a full-time, remote intern-to-hire position. In this position the ideal candidate would be supporting our teams in account management, drafting press releases and pitches, engaging with media and more, all while advancing your skills and knowledge of media relations and PR.

Our portfolio of clients includes:

B2C/Consumer – Toys & Games, Consumer Electronics, Sports Collectibles & Memorabilia, Appliances, Smart Home, Health Tech and more
B2B/Enterprise – SaaS, CMS, AI, HR, Ecommerce, Hospitality

Requirements:

An understanding of the public relations and media industry
Previous agency experience a HUGE PLUS
Must be proactive and organized
Passionate about relationship building with both client partners AND the media
Proven writing and communication skills
Influencer experience/interest is a BONUS!


Responsibilities include:

Research & Writing - drafting press releases, pitch notes, etc.
Media Scanning: keeping tabs on daily news for trends across client industries to fuel pitch angles
Media List Building - researching relevant contacts
Media Outreach - pitching and engaging the media
Client Communications - creating call agendas, participating in client meetings, crafting client emails and materials
Monitoring & Reporting - scanning for coverage, using our proprietary coverage scoring system, creating weekly and monthly client reports
